When asked about each of these students, our Leadership Institute faculty said:

Mrs. Doyle: "Marin D. '29 is always eager to participate in class and works hard on every assignment. She not only shares wonderful insights as part of our discussions, she also listens attentively and respectfully to others. I am so appreciative of her enthusiasm and positive energy, traits that will go a long way in her future leadership journey!"

Ms. Wesolowski: "Shannon D. '28 was nominated for student of the month in 7th grade Leadership. Shannon is an absolute pleasure to have in class. She comes to class with a great smile and a positive attitude and is excited to share her ideas with the class. Shannon consistently takes pride in her work and always strives to do her best. When participating in group activities, Shannon demonstrates her leadership abilities by encouraging other members of the group and keeping the group focused and on task."

Mrs. Smith: "I nominated Alex D. '27 because of her consistent commitment to Leadership 8. From always being prepared to lead our class in prayer, contributing to class discussions, and going above-and-beyond on projects, Alex has shown that she knows what it takes to be a leader."

Mrs. Lipsky: "I nominated Lauren T. '26 for Leadership Prep because Lauren exemplifies what it takes to become a good leader. Lauren is inquisitive and conscientious. She strives to do the best she can in class by participating and adding her thoughts to class discussions. She is also helpful and kind to her fellow classmates. I think the Leadership Prep class was just the beginning of Lauren's leadership journey."

Mr. Kapusinski: "Sanai H. '23 allows add valuable commentary and thoughtful insights to all class discussions. She consistently "steps up" and goes the extra mile in her work. She will be a great business leader someday."

Mr. Kapusinski: "Emily S. '23 always brings a wealth of experience from the jobs she has held into class discussions. Her analysis is almost always correct and the other students in the class look up to her. She is a natural leader and very smart!"

Mrs. Fise: "In Foundations of Leadership, the course challenges students to examine their own leadership style and includes much class discussion about a wide range of leadership topics. Hannah C. '24 was always ready for class and had excellent class participation. She was willing to step outside her comfort zone and her interaction with and support of her classmates spoke to her engaging and empathic leadership."

Mrs. Fise: "Megan D. '23 prepared a thorough and thoughtful Leadership Capstone project, entitled: Current Leadership Challenges for the Nursing Profession. Capstone requires students to perform in-depth secondary research, as well as conducting their own primary research. Megan was terrific at juggling the rigorous demands of the course; she met every deadline with a consistent and superior level of scholarship."
